Even more snow has been falling up on Mount Hood, weighing down the tree branches and making snowshoeing conditions ever better.

So far it’s been a pretty dry winter, and it was only recently that there’s been enough snow on the Mount Hood trails to get out snowshoeing. The dogs love any car ride, of course, but they get really excited when they see we’ve reached the snow line as we drive up Highway 26.

The last time we went snowshoeing around Enid Lake it was cloudy, but today it was clear enough to get a great view of the peak of Mount Hood peering over the trees.
